School districts are required to certify a child
who is a member of a household receiving assistance under Food
Stamps as eligible for free meals without further application
or verification
by the following deadlines:
July 1, 2006: Any district that had an
enrollment of 25,000 or more in the preceding school year.
July 1, 2007: Any district that had an
enrollment of 10,000 or more in the preceding school year.
July 1, 2008: All other districts.
